Healthy Kitchen Learning Lab: A Hands-On Success
Education Transformation Enterprises Inc. successfully hosted its Healthy Kitchen Learning Lab: Cooking & Nutrition in Action, bringing together youth and families for an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Participants explored essential life skills including how to read food labels, understand the food pyramid, build balanced plates, and follow recipes using proper measurement tools.
Through interactive activities such as a food label scavenger hunt, plate-building exercises, and a fun culinary experience creating S'mores cheesecake cups, students were actively engaged while learning how to make healthier choices in their everyday lives. Families left empowered with practical knowledge to support better nutrition at home, even when faced with limited food options.
This workshop reflects ETE Inc.'s commitment to equipping youth with real-world skills that promote confidence, healthy habits, and long-term success.
Holiday Culinary Workshop Success
Education Transformation Enterprises Inc. hosted a fun and engaging Holiday Culinary Workshop where youth and families learned healthy eating habits, how to read food labels, and follow recipes using measurement tools. Through hands-on activities, students created festive treats while building confidence and real-life skills.
This workshop strengthened family engagement and empowered participants to make healthier choices during the holiday season and beyond.
AeroBuilders: Cargo Flight STEAM Challenge Was A Huge Success
Our youth had an amazing time designing and building their own airplanes, testing how far they could fly while carrying cargo, and learning real-world STEAM concepts along the way. From measuring distance and understanding how weight affects flight, to improving their designs and working as a team, students were fully engaged and excited to learn.
The day was filled with fun, creativity, and collaboration, plus lunch, raffle prizes, and lots of smiles. Most importantly, our students experienced what it means to be part of a true community of learners, where curiosity, teamwork, and confidence take flight.

Holiday Senior Gift Basket Giveaway
Education Transformation Enterprises Inc. implemented an intergenerational service-learning initiative connecting youth development with senior care. Students engaged in meaningful activities such as creating greeting cards, assembling care baskets, and learning about the contributions of older adults, strengthening their social-emotional and civic skills.
Recognizing that many seniors serve as primary caregivers in multigenerational households, this initiative also addressed the unique challenges faced by senior-led families. Through community partnerships with Shiloh Baptist Church and Grand Court Apartments, ETE Inc. provided holiday gift baskets with essential household and personal care items to four seniors, helping to reduce burden while fostering connection across generations.
