ETE Inc is a certified Step Up For Students provider. We help qualifying Florida families navigate the scholarship process from start to finish — no cost to you for the guidance. If your child qualifies, scholarship funding can be used to pay for our enrichment programs and services.
What Is Step Up For Students?
Step Up For Students is a Florida nonprofit scholarship funding organization that administers several state-funded scholarship programs to help families access educational options that best fit their children. Thousands of Florida families use these scholarships each year to fund tutoring, private school, and educational therapies.
Programs administered by Step Up For Students include:
- Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship — for families with limited income
- Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO) — for families seeking educational options outside their zoned school
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) — for students with qualifying disabilities
- Reading Scholarship Accounts (RSA) — for students in grades 3–5 who are struggling with reading
Do You Qualify?
Income-Based Eligibility
Families with a household income at or below 375% of the federal poverty level may qualify for income-based scholarship programs. Eligibility is reviewed annually.
- Must be a Florida resident
- Student must be eligible to enroll in a Florida public school
- Household income documentation required
Special Needs Eligibility
Students with documented disabilities or unique abilities may qualify for the FES-UA scholarship regardless of household income.
- Must have a current IEP, 504 plan, or qualifying diagnosis
- Funds may cover tutoring, therapies, and specialized programs
- ETE Inc is an approved FES-UA provider
